Florian Haacke is the CSO / Head of innogy Group Security since the split from RWE in 2016. He is responsible for all security topics such as Cyber Security, Physical Security, Business Continuity and Crisis Management as well as Data Protection. Previously, Florian was the CSO / Head of Group Security RWE AG. In this function, he and his team was awarded the German Outstanding Security Performance Award 2015 and the Most influential people in security 2016. From 2007 to 2013, he was CSO of METRO GROUP and prior to this he was senior Security Manager at Deutsche Post DHL Group.
Florian has a Master degree in Security and Risk Management and is a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the German Armed Forces. Honorary appointments: Member of the Board of the Alliance for Industrial Security in North Rhine-Westphalia; Member of the Security Sub-Committee of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), member of the advisory board of the scientific research project “IT security in critical infrastructures”, lecturer for strategic steering of Corporate Security organizations at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and European Business School. Publisher of the online service “www.sicherheitsmelder.de” of Richard Boorberg publishing company. Jury member of the Security Innovation Award of the Security exhibition Essen, Germany.
