Dan Constantino is a Security Operations Director at Cox Automotive, where he leads the threat detection and response practice. This includes incident response and forensics, security monitoring for on-prem/cloud systems, threat intelligence/hunting, insider risk, phishing response, and managing a 24X7 Managed Security Service.
Dan has over 15 years of experience in the Information Security industry and has worked for Cox Automotive for over 12 years. Prior to Cox Automotive, Dan has worked in the financial services industry for large organizations such as Citigroup and Intesa San Paolo.
Over the course of Dan’s career working for Cox Automotive he built the Security Monitoring and Response Program for both on-prem and cloud systems, coordinated implementation of a 24X7 MSS, built the DLP Program to mitigate insider threats, deployed a wide variety of threat protection tools to augment security, created the Threat Intelligence Program, and standardized forensic processes and tooling for incident response.
Dan is part of professional security associations IANS, ISC2, and ISACA. He holds professional designations for the CISM, CISSP, CISA, and CCSP. Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Security from Mt. Sierra College and a graduate certificate in business from UMass Lowell.
